Thanksgiving 2012 was the first time in my life I was away from my blood family. It was the first year spent with my new Los Cabos family. We surfed fun 2-3 feet nine palms at sunrise until around 9:30. I caught between 6-10 waves and Robin while SUPing caught like 50.
Upon our drive out to the east cape we decided on our way back we would stop at Flora Farms San Jose Del Cabo.. Flora Farms is a 10 acre organic farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains in Los Cabos.
Everything that is on the menu or available for sale is grown right there on the farm. Menu changes daily and today’s was amazing. All you can eat for $165 pesos. That included organically grown salad, poached egg inside sausage that was from the animals on the farm. Mango jams on freshly baked breads and coffee and orange juice grown on site. There were a couple frittatas, one veggie and one with ham and cheese. Truly everything was amazing.
As we finished they were setting up for turkey dinner. They were having 300 people for a full on everything being eaten was grown on the farm turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
If you ever come to Los Cabos, Flora Farms is a must. Met the owner and she was very grateful and proud of her accomplishment.
